Go out of town on the Appian Way about a mile, turn left onto Vicolo della Basilica and then turn onto Via Appia Pignatelli. Continue on Via Appia Nuova until SS7: follow it for about 2 km and then turn towards SS7DIR. After a mile take Folgarella Road and into Ciampino.
From Rome's Termini train station every 15 minutes for Ciampino

The Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the heart of Rome. Located a short distance from the GRA (GRA) and the main road system of highways North-South and East-West and raggiumgibile:
for those coming from Rome: Via Appia direction Castelli Romani
for those coming from Fiumicino airport: Take the Fiumicino / Rome -> GRA towards Via Appia Nuova -> Via Appia direction Castelli Romani
for those coming from the motorways: Exit Roma Sud -> GRA -> Via Appia direction Castelli Romani
for those coming from South Lazio: Via Appia towards Rome
Taxi
And 'possible to reach or leave the airport licensed taxis, white cars with official fare meter available outside the arrival area. Ciampino airport, at the exit there is a taxi service for Rome. The cost of the taxi is 30 euros, including baggage, for a maximum of four passengers, for all destinations within the Aurelian Walls (see map in pdf) that surround the central area of the city.
