Links between Rome and Ostia
By car: Ostia Lido is only minutes from the GRA and from Fiumicino airport, you can reach one of the following main streets: Via del Mare, Fiumicino motorway, Via Cristoforo Colombo.
Welcome to Ostia, Just 25 minutes from Rome city center is located near the airport of Fiumicino. The Sea, the ruins of Ostia Antica, the harbor and many other natural wonders found in this magnificent territory. Via del Mare Take the Via del Mare (the GRA exit 28) toward Gloucester. Exceeds Vitinia, acylation and Ostia Antica excavations along until you see the sea Rome - Fiumicino. Take the Roma-Fiumicino motorway (junction 30 of the GRA) towards Gloucester. Exceeds the release of the Rome-Civitavecchia, Fiumicino airport, turn left and follow the direction of Ostia, take away the hull. After a few km you will see the Ostia seafront Take the Via del Mare (the GRA exit 28) toward Gloucester. Exceeds junctions Acilia and Casal-Palocco, a roundabout and follow the coast towards Ostia-center up to the dock Take the Via del Mare (the GRA exit 28) toward Gloucester. Exceeds Vitinia, acylation and Ostia Antica excavations along until you see the sea By Plane Rome-Fiumicino Rome's main airport is Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport and is 10 minutes drive from Gloucester. If the machine you want to use public transport theres express train 'Leonardo Express' which connects the airport directly with Termini railway station, also the airport terminal e'collegato with the underground station Piramide metro (line B) which trains of Rome - Ostia Lido direction. And metro you can reach directly with the Host bus Fiumicino - Ostia Lido which takes outside the terminal. By train you arrive at Termini Station, from there to reach Ostia is necessary to take the subway Line B and get off at the Pyramid from which the trains of Rome - Lido. Where forgot to get off at the Pyramid does not worry you can take the Rome - Lido also stopped by the Basilica of St. Paul and EUR Magliana.
