Leonardo is a new neighborhood park located in the municipality of Fiumicino (province of Rome) and then within the conurbation of Rome, which houses the mall and multiplex cinema among the biggest in Italy.
Master entrusted by Ricardo Bofill in 1993, Park began as Leonardo design effort and construction of a single entrepreneur (Leonardo Caltagirone), with the goal of creating a city within a city or a cluster housing designed self-consistent 'on table' with modern standards and innovative. Besides being present in thousands of housing units it consists of a mall (the largest in Italy, at the time), a cinema (UGC Cine Cite) which with its 24 rooms is, itself, the first for capacity in Italy, and an innovative system of squares and pedestrian relegated to the lower levels a large parking area. Leonardo developed a linear park between the highway Rome-Fiumicino (A91 motorway) and the Via Portuense, and is divided into three areas called ATHENA (with predominantly commercial vocation), and POLIS PLEIADI with vocation instead mainly housing. Is currently under construction and an area known as ATHENA 2 POLIS public park area.

Parco Leonardo, the cities of the Third Millennium is rising just outside of Rome to Fiumicino motorway, still provides the largest Italian real estate investment.

What Leonardo Park today?
The building project covers an area of 160 hectares along the important route Rome-Fiumicino, where there are many other major development projects including the new Fiera di Roma.
Parco Leonardo is a true "city", even if completed less than 50% of the whole, characterized by the development of "mixed-use", or where there are business functions, management, as well as residential facilities for leisure, entertainment, services, schools, hotels, offices, parks, pedestrian plazas and communications infrastructure.

· The moment are about 2,700 apartments already sold at Parco Leonardo (some are still under construction);
· In December 2004 has opened the largest multiplex cinema in Italy, containing 24 rooms, 6100 seats and offers more than 100 shows per day.
