The Province of Rome is an area with strong cultural vocation, where the culture is growing in terms of demand, consumption and production. The objective of this department is to give the cultural policies the force of a truly collective project, participatory and inclusive, structured collaboration tool that is episodic and not between the towns of cohesion between the people and opening for intercultural and for all.
Two main lines of action: promote the role of the councilorship in the coordination of cultural resources fielded by the municipalities, providing support to initiatives and projects of cultural associations, arts groups and practitioners who use artistic expression as a means of integration cultural and social, gender equality and development of youth talent and languages. It 'very important to connect culture to people's lives and processes of product development, economic and social territory. For this action lines councilor tend to value creativity and new talents and projects are carried out by activating the system linking the synergistic communication, such as lectures and cultural districts of the basin. The strategy is to achieve governanceculturale shared between all local authorities where social cohesion remains at the heart of the processes of cultural promotion and productive land Also for the promotion and preservation of the rich architectural heritage, historical and artistic constituted by libraries, archives, museums, art galleries and archaeological sites on land the department wants to work in broader collaboration with the municipalities to bring out the territorial vocations and emphasize the broader involvement of citizens and citizens as possible. In the five years in office this department is to work in large areas which, while enhancing the magnificent mosaic of identities, traditions and local memories, exceed the administrative and institutional structures to define a large space designed not by boundaries but by the desires and the needs of the people who inhabit it, cross it for business or leisure, to reach out to live or enjoy its wonders.
