Province: Youth Policy

At a time of renewed fervor participation by our young people to social issues, the Department is committed to youth policies, for the first time, local young people in implementing the plan, a plan that provides assistance in various areas. The objective is to stimulate and accompany, through creative participation of many local youth reality, integration and knowledge of how to value and cultural contribution of our multiethnic society, countering the increasingly frequent phenomena of hardship and social exclusion .

With this aim, our Department, puts young people at the center of the project, asking owners who, through public announcements of ideas, design and produce in the languages they deem more congenial (music, theater, art, film, trade with other European countries, environment, etc ...) a healthy and responsible course of formation and aggregation. The topic "youth" has always been a concern for all sectors of the provincial administration. Since 1999 there is a specific service, the Youth Policy Service, which has become over time, its own physiognomy. This has gone from a policy of subsidies to a proper planning policy through the involvement of young people of our country with the belief that youth policy should not be considered as a single unitary body of initiatives but as a multiplicity of interventions for different modes and sectors. From this was established in 2006, the Forum of youth associations in the Province of Rome to which all can join associations which are incorporated in the Province of Rome, with the main statutory objective of activities aimed at young population and be composed predominantly young people between 16 and 35 years. Through the forum is encouraged youth participation in the formulation of policies that represent them, to facilitate the expression of their needs and aspirations, the formulation of proposals, activities, initiatives and bodies.
