"Innovation Plan" is an initiative of the provincial administration for the deployment of broadband networks and Wi-Fi to tackle the Digital Divide. The project will be implemented over the next five years for a total expenditure of about 7 million, includes three areas for action:
1. the creation of public areas with Wi-Fi internet by citizens of the Municipalities of Rome; 2. the spread of broadband in all homes in the province of Rome through the development plan "Zero Digital Divide"; 3. the opening of 50 centers of creativity and innovation in the province. These three projects were placed by the Administration to effectively combat the digital divide and promote access to the Internet. The "PianoInnovazione" as well as combating discrimination the right of access to the network part of the modernization project of the Province of Rome, competitiveness and growth.
