The Province of Rome has taken up the challenge to become a province of Europe. A challenge which means ability to intercept the changes, opportunities, opportunities for growth resulting from the speed with which they move European integration processes by investing in Rome and its vast area development based on innovation, quality and circulation of knowledge and social cohesion.
The Office for Europe and International Relations is a service designed to promote the economic, social and cultural development of municipalities of the Metropolitan and the activation of channels of information and support relating to Community opportunities. And a tool that connects the Community opportunities with specific needs of a territory and institutions that represent it. Promotes awareness and information activities on European issues, involving local authorities, the socio-economic fabric of the Province and in particular young people, called to be citizens, capable of living of Europe and be an active part. Another side sees that actively engaged the Office of International Relations and Europe is that of international relations. The increasing globalization and the emergence of new direct links between international phenomena and local territories show how international relations can become effective tools for local governments to open their own territory in the world and promote its development. The Office for Europe and International Relations is aimed at all internal services to the Province and the municipalities of the Metropolitan. It works closely with these recipients, enabling a collaborative relationship and placing itself as an instrument of the requirements, design information and that they express.
