The new port is located at the mouth of the Tiber River in Rome, in a vast area so far little used, the project includes implementation, behind the port structure, the construction of a large ecological park naturalist, for restocking wildlife and vegetation .
Environmental protection is combined here with the upgrading of an area with many potential, thus offering, departments around the world the unique opportunity to "land" in Rome, when they have the museums, squares, monuments one of the world's most beautiful city beaches, parks, nightlife of the coastline, not forgetting the many islands a few miles from the coast. Designed to collect boats of all sizes, the Port provides port basin of variable depth ranging from 5 meters to 4.50 meters dell'avamporto of the bit of the northern basin, designed for larger boats, up to a minimum of 3, 50 meters for the southern basin, reserved for smaller boats. The two piers ensure the protection of vessels, even in case of violent storms.
