Underground Rome

The subway is a public urban transport, characteristics of speed and frequency high. There are two lines that connect the various parts of Rome perfectly allowing you to move smoothly. You can also reach locations outside the city using the suburban railway and inland to Rome. To make the service more efficient, works are underway to upgrade and extension.

The angled line the city from northwest to southeast connecting with Cinecittà Termini station and the historic center, reaching to the Vatican Museum, Via Aurelia is, while the B line cuts diagonally from the city north-east to south connecting the EUR in the south of the city with the Basilica San Paolo, the Colosseum and railway stations Ostiense, Termini and Tiburtina, to end at Rebibbia.
The two lines intersect in the Termini station, which is the most important railway station of Rome, where you can use other public services such as buses and taxis are right outside the station.
