There are few places like the Casino Nobile contain within themselves so much history, the pomp of the Torlonia Fascism.
House of the Owls IThe Museum House of the Owls - opened in 1997 - is located inside the park of Villa Torlonia on Via Nomentana. The building set on a hill has an original architecture and rich decoration, construction dates back to 1840 when the Venetian architect Giuseppe Jappelli created a curious building called "Swiss Hut" covered with rough cut stone plant with "L" and a small octagonal body, in 1908 Prince Giovanni Torlonia, owner of the villa, he decided to live in the building and ordered the extension and decoration elements and mediaeval liberty to entrust the architect Gennari: building were Indeed added penthouses jagged, turrets, balconies, loggias and porches and a variety of decorative elements such as pottery, wrought iron, mosaics, plaster and marble sculptures. The building has undergone further transformation between 1916 and 1920 by the architect Vincenzo Fasolo added that the structure of another body works on a wide porch with a vault supporting a terrace open space.
